Here is a photo of some of my homebrew gear while setup for operation in the field. The 30 meter QRP rig (a.k.a. PRC-38S) is on the bottom. The box on top is the battery pack containing a 7 Amp/hour gel cell, voltmeter, and a solar charge current meter. To the left is my homebrew 5W power meter/dummy load. To the right are my paddles and Kent straight key.
Here are some later photos of the 30 meter rig set up for portable use.
